Novel Aero Inc., a Wallingford, Connecticut-based aerospace manufacturer, was named the 2026 Connecticut SBA Exporter of the Year, a distinction awarded to small businesses that demonstrate exceptional success in international trade.

The recognition reflects the company’s steady growth and expanding global reach. Novel Aero produces precision gaskets and seals used in advanced engine applications across military, commercial, and industrial markets, where quality and technical precision are critical.

Under the leadership of owner and CEO Yogi Tharanibalan, the company has focused on strengthening its engineering capabilities and operations to support increasing demand. In 2025, Novel Aero achieved approximately 20% revenue growth while expanding its engineering team, further positioning the business for continued development.¹
