Edward Wilson

Edward Wilson is Senior Managing Director, Investments for Webster Private Bank, the division of Webster Bank is responsible for serving the banking, lending, investment management, planning and fiduciary needs of high net worth clients, their families and related charitable entities across the entire Webster Bank footprint. Ed has over 30 years’ experience in the wealth management industry, focused primarily on high net worth families and their related interests.

Immediately prior to joining Webster Bank in 2014, Ed served as Senior Vice President – Investments for Wells Fargo Private Bank. Previously, he was a Global Investment Specialist with JPMorgan Private Bank. In both roles, Ed provided sophisticated wealth management strategies, including traditional portfolio management and diverse alternative investment strategies such as hedge funds, private equity and credit structures. Prior to JPMorgan, he opened a de novo office for Northern Trust, and served as Investment Counselor for Citigroup’s Private Bank in Greenwich, CT. He previously managed the Midwest Region for Prudential Securities’ Investment Management Services division in Chicago, IL, providing investment solutions across 8 states through approximately 800 Financial Advisors.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Fairfield University and Master of Business Administration in Finance from Fordham University. Additionally, Ed holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ mark, issued by the CFP® Board. Ed and his wife, Susan, have two sons and reside in Fairfield, CT.
