Jason Schugel is Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Webster Bank, a leading commercial bank with more than $80 billion in assets. Jason is responsible for managing the bank’s enterprise risk functions, including operating, compliance, and regulatory risk. He also oversees the BSA/AML and Fraud programs.
Schugel brings more than 25 years of strategic financial, audit and risk management experience to Webster, including most recently serving as CRO for Ally Bank.
He earned his MBA (Investment Banking Concentration) from Wake Forest University’s Babcock Graduate School of Management; and his bachelor’s in finance from Southern Methodist University.
