Sterling National Bank’s Franchise Group provided a Term Loan in the amount of $875,000 to The Bakersfield Wing Company, Inc., a 5-unit Wingstop franchisee in Bakersfield, CA. The credit facilities will provide refinancing of existing debt as well as working capital for the Company’s future anticipated growth.
The Wingstop brand, founded in 1994 in Garland, TX, was built on the values of proprietary recipes, outstanding food, and superior customer service. In 1997, Wingstop saw the opening of their first franchised location and by 2002 they had served the world one billion wings. They tout: “It’s more than a meal, it’s a flavor experience”.
This transaction was originated by Lindy Baldwin, a Managing Director located in New York, NY.
