Vikram Nafde

Vikram Nafde serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Webster Bank, a leading commercial bank with more than $70 billion in assets. He is responsible for the overall vision, strategy and execution of all of Webster’s technology including, business applications, software and digital engineering, data, architecture, agility, tech innovation, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Vikram has more than 25 years of expertise in orchestrating large-scale digital transformations, driving technology operations, strategic planning, and talent development. Prior to his role as CIO, Vikram served as Senior Vice President, Head of Software Engineering, Digital Delivery and Agility at Webster Bank. During that time, he was responsible for shaping and leading all aspects of the Bank’s software development and the rollout of the Scaled Agile operating model.

Prior to joining Webster, Vikram held a variety of technology leadership roles across various companies including, Bridgewater Associates, GE Asset Management, Genpact and Starwood.

Vikram earned his Electrical Engineering degree from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance and IT from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
